Ceramics China has now grown into a truly International event with visitors (in 2007) coming from many other countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, U.E.A. Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia.
This show is also a focus for all the decision makers from the Chinese Ceramics Industry

For any company interested in the Asian market in particular this is a “MUST DO” event

The UK Pavilion

In 2007 the exhibitor group decided to have a “big impact” UK pavilion. This proved to be a great success as it heightened the profile of all the companies taking part. The booth was an open plan with each company having a designated space but allowing visitors to easily wander between booths. This meant that even though companies had a relatively small space they were seen as part of a much bigger booth?

In China this was very successful as the Union Jack is seen as a mark of quality and reliability.

For 2008 we have secured one of the best positions in the International Hall, at the junction of the two major thoroughfares. We will be offering modules within the pavilion based on 3 x 3m. as standard. However we can also offer bigger areas if required. The costs of the booth are shared between exhibitors and include up to 5 posters, all lighting, power points and electricity use, tables and chairs, communal lock-up cupboards, drinking water coolers, literature racks and literature bags, use of the “common meeting area” and invitations to the official banquet. Exhibitors will also be able to make presentations at the Ceramic Forums taking place during the exhibition.

Individual stands can have various custom made display cupboards and flat screen TV on a chargeable basis.

Final costs for the pavilion will depend on the numbers of exhibitors, however we expect that for a 3 x 3 space the cost will be approximately £3500 +VAT.

For eligible companies, there may be grant aid available such as SOLO (£1500) or ERDF. To get access to funding you will need to contact the International Trade team at your local Chamber of Commerce

UK companies can also exhibit independently outside the UK Pavilion by taking a 3 x 3 m (minimum) shell scheme booth at a cost of £1750 Plus VAT. This will provide as standard a carpeted floor, partitions, fascia board with company name in Chinese and English, one standard information counter, two chairs, two spotlights, 1 plug outlet one waste bin.

Additional display cabinets, tables and chairs and visual aids can be hired separately
There is a 5% surcharge for a corner booth (subject to availability)

Raw space is also available for companies who prefer to construct their own booth. Minimum space is £125 per sq m plus VAT.

In each of the above cases our consultancy service is also available if required for a flat fee of £500 plus VAT

We also expect to be able to offer a limited number of smaller booths (2 x 2m) within the pavilion at a cost of £2250 + VAT.

In addition we will also have a catalogue exhibition within the “common meeting area” where companies who cannot attend can display catalogues. This area will be manned by a member of our staff who will take any enquiries on your behalf. The cost of this will be £100.00 plus VAT.

50% of the cost of the booth will need to be paid by 30th January 2008 with the balance paid by 30th April 2008. Late payment will incur a £25.00 surcharge.
