Anzun Marketing, part of Anderen Ltd, an Anglo Chinese company, (www.anderenltd.com) have vacancy for young enthusiastic Marketing Administration Assistant.

This is a ground floor opportunity to develop a new department within an established international trading company based in Guangzhou.

The Job

To develop our range of marketing products within a new department, introducing Western style marketing and linguistic programmes to various Chinese business and Trade Association sectors, initially, but not exclusively, within the Ceramics Industry.
This would entail.

  • Following up existing enquiries, arranging meetings with clients, and taking outline briefs
  • Proactively developing a data base of potential clients
  • Converting enquiries into firm contracts
  • Acting as a translator and interpreter
  • Searching for promotional opportunities for the companys’ range of products
  • Assisting in negotiation of contracts
  • Searching for new markets
  • Making a significant contribution to developing new products ands services
  • Organising seminars
  • Liaison with both European and Chinese Directors on a day to day basis
  • Assisting with Group wide promotion of a wider range of products
  • Potentially there could be significant business travel

The person

We are looking for a unique person who is able to offer the following essential requirements:

  • Of graduate calibre with a major in International Trade or International Marketing.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Enthusiastic with the ability to work under own initiative and to work under pressure
  • Sophisticated and positive personality
  • Ambitious
  • Strong administrative and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build a strong marketing department within an established company
  • Open to new ideas in marketing techniques
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Ability to deal with clients at the highest level
  • 100% commitment to the company
